TAI CHI CHUAN, CHI (QI), CHI KUNG (QIGONG

Tai Chi Chuan: an ancient Chinese exercise, or art, for the harmony of mind, body and nature.

Chi (Qi) can mean “breath” – but more accurately – Vital Energy or Life Force.

Chi Kung: the science or practice of cultivating the body’s internal energy.

TEACHERS

Ro-Z and Darryl Mendelson began Tai Chi Chuan lessons with Sifu Dr. Fred Wu in 1973. In 1975 they opened Monkeys Retreat Tai Chi/Chi Kung Center and Bookstore. They began teaching under Dr. Wu’s direction and continue the study and teaching of the different paths to locating and cultivating Chi for Health, Happiness and Longevity.
